Γενικά θεωρώ αρκετά έξυπνες SDN λύσεις όπου αν υπάρχει βλάβη στον controller, το σύστημα συνεχίζει να λειτουργεί με τον παραδοσιακό τρόπο ( π.χ. https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-lapukhov-bgp-sdn-00 ).
